A Walk in the Woods with Mayor Hammoud

     On Thursday, September 12, 2024, from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, Mayor Hammoud will conduct a walk-through in our community. This is an opportunity for Mayor Hammoud to see and hear firsthand from **US**, the Snow Woods residents about the issues we face and complain about daily on Facebook. Complaints such as unkept lawns, disrespectful motorists, rat problems and everything else that we have mentioned on FB. There **IS** strength in numbers so let’s move the complaints/conversations from FB to a “live” session with the Mayor. This is our time to be heard in an effort to make a positive difference in our neighborhood. And it's a great opportunity to meet some new people too!

It’s that time of year again — Garage Sale Season!

Please fill out the form below to register your address

Participants are asked to donate an item to Sale HQs location, 22917 W Outer Drive, to raise funds for SWNA.

Now is your chance to become a part of the 14th Annual Snow Woods Neighborhood Street Sale!

This is not your average garage sale! This event includes maps and directions to each house so potential buyers can easily find you. The Snow Woods Neighborhood Association (SWNA) will advertise for you via online, cable, and newspaper and provide help along the way! If you can only sell on one or two of the days, that’s okay, let us know which day(s) you will be selling. You'll still want to get your location on the map!

No Registration Fee; but you'll need to get a permit from the City!

Each house must get a city permit to hold your garage sale!

Did you know that designation as a Local Historic District,            administered by a local Historic Distric Commission, is the only way to prevent a designated structure from being demolished?

Join us at the Ten Eyck Administrative Center on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 7 pm to hear our very own SWNA Director, Steven Guibord, provide an update on all things Camp Dearborn!!! Steven has been working closely with City to plan and strategize the future for Camp D. (And yes, there will be fireworks this year at Camp D!!!)
